We would like to present you Terms &Conditions of our website to ensure clarity of our processes before you make a purchase with us.

Please, read all sections carefully before placing your order.

Terms and Conditions (T&C) introduction

The following T&C listing will apply between you and Hoopoe Toys LTD. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Using our website www.hoopoetoys.co.uk  to place an order you agree to have read and understood the T&C below.

Placing orders

Once you have bought goods from our online shop, you will receive payment and order confirmation details via email. To process your online order we will ask you to provide accurate information to us.

We aim to have the items in our shop available all the time. If the item is out of stock then we will ask for your permission to email you as soon as the item is back in stock.

All of our products are CE tested. Most of them are suitable for children aged 3+.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervision of children during play with toys purchased in our store. We will not be held liable for personal injury or death due to lack of care or misuse of toys purchased through our website.

Payment methods

We accept two ways of making payment: most major credit and debit cards and via PayPal account. Payment will be taken from your account before your purchase being ready to send.  All payments are managed by PayPal or Stripe.

All charges and refunds are in UK Pound Sterling (£). Hoopoe Toys LTD cannot be held responsible for any loss due to exchange rate fluctuation.


Most of the time we use recycled packing and do our best to protect purchase against damage. However we are not responsible for a parcel condition during delivery period.

If you are not happy of parcel’s condition, please do send us pictures of your parcel and contact us as soon as possible by email: info@hoopoetoys.co.uk.


Goods will be dispatched to the address given by you in your order and verified in order confirmation sent via email.

The package will be sent via tracked courier delivery – Hermes Parcelnet Ltd, Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley LS27 0WH

We aim to post package no later than 3 working days from receipt of your payment. We send parcels 2 times a week: Mondays and Thursdays.

If you wish to receive any of the items earlier or in a different way, please contact us info@hoopoetoys.co.uk and we will do our best to make sure it suits your needs. Additional requests may generate additional delivery costs.

Please be aware that all our parcels must be sent via tracked services only.

International orders and shipping

Please contact us info@hoopoetoys.co.uk  or via Facebook or Instagram profiles before placing an order for aboard delivery. We will send you all payment details and also a few delivery options to choose from. Please be aware that we will not be held liable for loss of the parcel if delivery option you choose is not tracked.

If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; we advise each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.

You should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.


If you are not happy with the product and wish to return it then you can do so within 14 days of delivery.  The returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Please note that we do not cover the return postage cost also we advise that you send the goods using recorded delivery option as we will not be able to give you a full refund if the package is lost on its way back.

Unfortunately we do not accept returns on item sent aboard.

The refund will be paid into your bank or PayPal account within 7 working days from the date the returned package was received.

If your delivered item is damaged or parts are missing then contact us immediately on info@hoopoetoys.co.uk and we will arrange for the replacement of the item or a full refund will be given.

Pre-orders Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions T&C apply when you pre-order a product from Hoopoe Toys LTD, whether it’s online or through any other methods. By placing a pre-order you’re agreeing to be bound by these Terms, so please read them carefully before you place a pre-order and keep a copy for your records.

Placing a pre-order

Pre-orders are orders for products that are not yet available for general sale from Hoopoe Toys LTD.
We strongly advise to create an account prior or while placing the Pre-order as this option is not accessible without logging into your account.
In order to place a Pre-order you will need to provide certain information, including but not limited to your name, address, e-mail address and billing information. It is necessary to create an account on our website. It is your responsibility to make sure this information is accurate and up to date. If we do not have accurate information we will not be able to inform you when the Pre-order is available for purchase.

Pre-orders are available only within United Kingdom region. For the rest of the world please see our standard Terms and Conditions.


When you place a Pre-order you will need to pay the full upfront price of the product or a deposit of 30% of full price of advertised product in order for us to process your request. If you would like to select deposit option, you will be asked to pay remaining balance (including delivery charge) after 15 days from your first payment. Email notification with invoice will be send across to email used in registration process. Within the email please follow “pay” link to take you to payment website, which is only accessible once logged in to account created prior to placing Pre-order.

Please be advised that when buying products on pre-order we will collect payment for postage separately to products available in shop not on pre-order.

We advise to purchase pre-order products and items available at hand separately, as this will allow correct postage price to be applied.

Delivery & Cancellation

Where possible orders will be shipped to you or be ready for collection as soon as is practicable, subject to availability. For some areas delivery will take longer.
Release dates are decided by the manufacturers and are subject to change. As a result, we cannot be liable for any changes to Release dates or Pre-order windows advertised by Hoopoe Toys LTD. Standard delivery time is 21 working days. If the process is taking longer we will inform you as soon as it is practicable.

If your order contains items on pre-order and available at hand we will send complete order when all items are available in stock and ready for postage.

Cancellations of a Pre-order will be subject to fee (30% of full price of the item purchased). If second payment is not paid within 1 working day once item is in our stock we reserve right to cancel Pre-order.

Hoopoe Toys LTD may cancel a Pre-order at any time for any or no reason prior to our notice to you, we will issue refund for all payments made towards purchasing the product.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Please check the website for updates.

These Terms are governed construed according to English law. Any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts by English law.

Privacy notice

All personal data we receive from our clients will be stored securely and will never be shared with any third party providers. We will only use the information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Invalidity of Terms and Conditions

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable; the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
